the art of colon hydrotherapy

Colon hydrotherapy, also known as colonic irrigation, is a gentle and effective procedure for cleansing the lower intestinal tract. Our colon therapist, Zosia Religa, is a Registered Nurse and has been administering colon therapy treatments for over 22 years. Here's how she describes the Renaissance approach:

"We use a closed gravity-fed system that flows purified water at exactly the right and very gentle pressure (<0.6 psi) for a comfortable and thorough cleansing. I am meticulous about maintaining my equipment at the highest possible standards and I put my nursing training (and professional-quality sterilization equipment) to good use.

Treatment times vary from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours with most sessions taking about 75 minutes.

Treatments are always given in a clean, warm and private room with access to a private bathroom.  Although you will undress from the waist down, you will be lying comfortably beneath a sheet and blanket on a padded treatment table.

Over the years I have developed specialized techniques which have formed an integral part of therapy.  Because every person is different, I have learned to adjust the techniques to suit the needs of the individual. Patients have consistently remarked about the splendid difference in treatment quality that these methods have made."

If you have questions please give us a call. We'd be happy to discuss any issues or special concerns that you may have.
